The university gave Weis a payment of $2,054,744 for the reporting period of July 2014 through June 2015. Weis has received $16,912,123 since he was fired in November 2009. Notre Dame is scheduled for "additional annual payments" through December 2015, so one more payment means Weis' buyout money from the school will total $18,966,867.

If Weis would have stayed Brissett would have been our QB, he was a better fit for the pro style that he runs. And maybe there would have been consistent offense line classes. But in the end Weis isn't a college football guy.

This goes beyond coaches to include AD's.
Kevin White was the AD that stupidly signed Weis to a ten year contract after one good year at ND and instead of getting fired, he was allowed to stay on long enough to land at Duke where he is to this day.
