Everyone touting last years online were cursing them last year for being pathetic. Treon was a true freshman as well and considered a better option than Driscky.

Btw, Sharpe, Ivey, Halter, McGee, will probably all be in the NFL soon too.

So in your comparison Sharpe, Ivey and Halter would all be drafted by NFL teams this year? Because that is the comparison you are making. Treon was possibly better, or was he just different. The only thing that the two years have in common is that they both had a running back who will be drafted as the starter. We had better linemen at their state in their careers and better depth at the line. Last years wasn't the best line or a great line at Florida, but it was light years ahead of what we have now.

Last year's offensive line improved over the course of the season, but they were not fantastic. That said.. they were much better than what we had this year. You could also point out that the best offensive performance with Treon at QB last year was the UGA game and all he did that game was hand the ball off. He also had a big game against Vandy running the ball, but he didn't really have any big games last year throwing the ball.

Treon is who he is... he is not a good QB. As far as offensive coaching we saw that with a competent QB McElwain/Nuss offense can produce. Roper's offense could not produce with Driskel (who did much better under different coaching at ULL) or with Treon.

Muschamp is an idiot savant. He excels at promoting himself.

And Treon was a different QB last year. He ran around more. Mac and Nuss tried to fit him into their system instead of adapting their whole offense for one guy. Future vs present.

GatorTag you lost when you said Halter will be in the NFL. Apparently you didn't watch our games. The guy was a plug in at best. He was incredibly slow and could not, and I mean could not block a speed rusher. He made up for it by being a poor run blocker.
Even Halter knows he will never see the NFL.

Didn't Halter get blown up by a 210 pound safety?

We were saying the same thing about Humphries, Green, Mary Tyler Moore et. al. For the past 3 years. Those guys couldn't block Ga. Southern's vaunted d-line for Christ's sakes. They broke a 24 game win streak over Vandy. They o-line has been a joke for years and have been consider our weakest unit since the Pouncey's left.

I'm not sure if it's proper to say that someone was "awesome'd".

I think the one side of it is development. But the other side is depth. They had nobody to fill-in when when they were hurt or dinged up. They couldn't even take practices off to heal because there was nobody at their positions to practice in their stead. So their bodies just got worse and their development was severely stunted.

At 270lbs both Patchen and Humphries should have sat for 2 years and spent that time in S&C. Green played hurt virtually his entire career. Tyler Moore just sucked and he was a knuckle head.

God, I hate Chump.

Btw, this is why you have to give Mac some leeway until year three. Of course we want to see some improvement next year but year three is when we should see a massive leap. You can expect a turnaround in one or two years if you're just lacking in skill positions. Those players can come in and play year one. Linemen are a different story and almost all of our offensive woes are directly attributed to the line.

Has there ever been an HC who let the most integral part of an offense completely collapse like Chump did?

Again, we should see progress next year but because of the complete disaster on the line, I don't think the big leap comes until the following year. But I can guarantee you that people will be on pins and needles through most of next season.

Stupid? The guy is genuis! He's robbed us for $12+ million....he just robbed Auburn for $1.6 million (for a 14th ranked SEC defense)....now he's about to a$$-rape South Carolina for $10+ million. The stupid one is the AD's at Florida & South Carolina and the head coach at Auburn.
I have to give him that but that is what defines FOOLey.

If all of our 2015 OL guys were eligible for THIS draft, none of them would get drafted. A few years down the road, Sharpe, Ivey, maybe Johnson will all get drafted. But not this year.

If we just had the 2014 version of Max Garcia at center our run game would have been greatly improved this year.

Alex.

TAG is just trolling and not even trying hard. Halter? :lmao2: And he'll be blocking for Treon when they both are playing for the Pats.

Now that Muscramp is at USCe, why would we want to fix stupid? He and T-Robb will get exposed for their lack of coaching abilities.
