Stupid? The guy is genuis! He's robbed us for $12+ million....he just robbed Auburn for $1.6 million (for a 14th ranked SEC defense)....now he's about to a$$-rape South Carolina for $10+ million. The stupid one is the AD's at Florida & South Carolina and the head coach at Auburn.

At best I see 5-7. I'll give him a win against UK or ECU for 4-8. It still hasn't dawned on him that it is his philosophy that is the problem. Until that changes, he will suck as a head coach. Also, he is terrible at hiring offensive assistant coaches. I compare Mac's staff with the trash Chump surrounded himself with on the offensive side of the ball.

If Vandy finds any offense, that game is a toss up as well. I'd call UK a toss up also. No better than 5-7, as bad as 3-9. Not bad for a $3million+ pay day.

Remember Mushy/Roper had 4 offensive linemen go into the NFL last year. McElwain/Nussy have 5 linemen who shouldn't be starting in the SEC right now. But lets not get that fact get in the way of a good bitch-fest.

To be fair, you need to compare offensive lines.
Last year we had D.J. Humphries, Chaz Green, Max Garcia, Trenton Brown, Trip Thurman, Tyler Moore, plus much better depth than we had this year with Sharpe and Rod Johnson. The first four guys on that list were drafted last year and each of those four drew an NFL paycheck last week.
Contrast that with this year's line. I daresay if Mac had last year's OL the results would have been far different (particularly in our running game).
Muschamp hired Roper in part because he has been recruiting the Carolina area for years and had relationships with the HS coaches.
And he's a good OC if Muschamp will get out of the way and just let Roper run the offense.
We'll see if Muschamp learned anything from his mistakes at Florida.

I would say we do not have a good sample size on Roper as an OC running his own system to say he is good or bad. He ran Cutcliffe's offense, maybe. We don't really know who on that staff did the game planning, being you had Cutcliffe and two co-offensive coordinators almost his entire time there.

Roper, even through as we saw with Manziel this season... he hasn't been a great qb coach in the NFL.

Mac has had half a recruiting class and one spring to get his staff to develop the roster, and managed to reach 10-3 and SEC East champs (something Muschamp never did).
We lived through Muschamp's ineptness, have suffered for it and are improving as a program. USCe saw the dumpster fire we had and said "Hey, we need some of that!"
I'm laughing.

Everyone touting last years online were cursing them last year for being pathetic. Treon was a true freshman as well and considered a better option than Driscky.
Btw, Sharpe, Ivey, Halter, McGee, will probably all be in the NFL soon too.
