"Cost of Attendance" Stipends per conference

It's hard to put a dollar and cents amount on the cost of attendance at FSU. Attending FSU can cause irreparable harm to your reputation. I always give the following advice to prospective FSU applicants. I tell them if you think by attending FSU you are going to rise in the public esteem you are either one, sadly mistaken, or two, you are already pretty damn low in the public esteem.

Absolutely it does and it's BS. I hope the NCAA steps in on this; they need to set a flat rate/maximum. And honestly, when you combine the Pell Grant money that most of these kids are getting that comes out to around $12,000/year when both are combined....plus there are other grants that "poor" kids can get on top of the Pell Grant!

I wouldn't hold my breath on the NCAA doing anything. The NCAA (main office)has been corrupt as hell every since Emmert took over and they are the problem not the solution.
