I saw the other day where Perine said he was 220 lbs. I still believe he'll redshirt unless he comes in and is just "heads & shoulders" better than what we have or someone goes down.

Doubtful that Perine will be a factor because of depth amd he will have to learn the offense, but I think the kid will be great in the future

I think there is a pretty good chance. Our OL won't keep our RB's clean at all, so eventually someone will get nicked up pretty bad. Thompson has ball security issues. And Scarlett has not lived up to his billing so far.

Honestly, I hope not.

I'm excited about this kid and think that he'll be very good in the future.

And while it's exciting to have recruited true freshmen talented enough to make an impact right away, I'd also like to see us build enough depth and talent that we can have talented players redshirt their freshman season or don't have to be thrown into the fire.
