RIP. He lived life to the fullest even though being dealt a crappy blow in life. And his fashion was top notch.

Sometimes I wonder just how far we have really come in the battle. My 11 y.o son told me the other day he wanted to be famous and have a school named after him. I told him that if he could cure cancer they'd name a lot of schools after him and probably a planet.

A close friend's dad was officially diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer today. I say officially because he had so many masses they weren't sure where it originated from. Horrible. F ing horrible.

RIP Sager

I just learned last night that a friend of ours has cancer. He just found out going in for a prostate checkup. Come to find out it's stage 4 and already spread to his bones. He has a 3 yo daughter and his wife is 30 weeks pregnant. He's in his late 30s.

Absolutely awful news.

Why does cancer take the good ones?
Craig Sager was a true joy to watch, he had such a reputation and a relationship with the sports and the players that you knew that he was as genuine off the air as on. I have never heard anyone, and I mean anyone, say an unkind word about the guy.

God I hate cancer!!!

As far as losing good people this is the saddest year I can ever remember. My cousin's wife, who was vacationing with him and another couple in late September in Europe, learned she had lymphoma in late October and died last Sunday. Sager and so many others this year. We've got to find a cure for this monster.

Sorry to hear. I've said before I lost a cousin to Ocular Melanoma. He was 39 and we grew up 3 doors down from each other. I was reading that the US has the highest cancer rate in the world. Makes you wonder.

Terrible. If there's some type of fundraiser for the kids or a gofundme please Pm me. I will gladly donate.
