Frankly, I think this is a great use of the money. I don't know
if it is enough to cover all of the expenses, but what a great start! As I
recall there are some ancillary costs that will require
extra funding - but again, it's a good start.

For the future though, I really think we need better topics. It seems
odd that this is even a discussion topic. What does it have to do with Gator sports? I usually
love the way we find topics to discuss and debate, but this seems like a little
extra "over the top". Do
you know what I mean?

Maybe they can use the money to fund some stipends for the basketball team when they go to the NIT. Hooray.

I think the point of the article is that we should be funding the buyouts of Muschamp, Calapari and Chip Kelley while at the same time paying for a new indoor practice facility, stadium renovations, a new basketball facility and the accompanying new indoor track and field and swimming facilities that would be required. Hell if Tennessee can do it under the shrewd guidance of Dave Hart, we should be able to too.

Hope this article makes more sense to you now.

Youre right. Much more fiscally responsible to be the New Vandy or FAU.

Minions? Bi*ch please! Some people are just able to see what's right in front of our face while some chose to stick their heads in the sand and act like nothing happened. It's all good tho codrod Keep sucking Foley's pipe and make sure to choke!

Typical response from one of Law's boys. Stay classy, Gator.

Maybe we can buy out Dave Hart's contract too, while we're at it. Then we can become the new Tennessee.

Glad to see you back MJM.....I kinda agree with Marianna on this though. Remember when I came aboard before last season I was hammered by yourself, Law, Ox and several others for supporting Muschamp and Foley(up until the UT game anyways). At that point it became clear that Foley's decision making ability is not the be all and end all that I and many others had once thought. A poor decision in keeping Muschamp followed by 2 questionable hires in UF's marquee programs have a majority of posters on here on edge about the future of UF athletic programs. It's the off season and there really isn't much else to talk about.........unless you want me to bring up the "medical hardship waiver"
So what I'm saying is, pick a side, grab some :popcorn:and do what we do best here on GCMB which is hurl insults, make wise ass remarks, laugh at each other and ......................Oh yeah, talk about Gator sports

Mushchamp is gone. I prefer to not bash Gators, but if that's what's become "cool" on GCMB then I guess I'm just not one of the cool kids anymore.

Well some certainly have their own way of expressing their concerns and I'd be the first to say I've taken some shots myself but you have to admit it would be pretty boring around here in the off season without the banter. Are you completely OK with the hires, facilities or lack of and such? Also unless the AD and coaches are alumni are they truly "Gators"....I see them as more of "Hired Executives" than Gators or Gator fans.

I'm in a "holding pattern" waiting for something to happen.

Hopefully good news!
