It could be worse. We could've lost Davis or Anzalone. But now we are down the starting SLB.

Question is - what is the best solution? Go with the youth movement? Davis is keen on Moon, Johnson, and Reese. Or play more nickel? Problem there is that Dawson is coming into the game carrying an injury, and I liked what I saw from Chauncey but is he THAT ready if Duke aggravates the injury?

I guess it comes down to how we think UK will try to attack us.

As Mac admitted, this team now has to grow up very fast or it's gonna be a long season.

Kentucky definitely had more success against Southern Miss passing the ball than running it so we will probably see more nickel unless they show they can run it on us.

Reese needs to play for sure. And this is an opportunity to see if Moon and/or Joseph can play. McMillan is mediocre at best, so other than his experience it can't be that much of a drop off.

This.

they want to spread the field with a passing game. Go nickel as the base defense

You think we'll see any pick plays or double moves?

lol I hope Williamson doesn't see the field much unless we are blowing KY out.

no way jose. Chauncey will be on the field. as long as dawson and gardner are playing, i'm more worried about the free safeties tbh.

washington and harris are weak.

I can't believe we are still wasting a scholarship on him. He should have been Sabaned two years ago.

Show me some evidence they have been anywhere near it.

I've never seen a team lose this much weight, especially surprising that none of the DL have gained any.

We need his size for the Tennessee game. We'll play more nickel against UK.

They had the most success against us on the ground. I suspect we see that again.
