Does anyone think he wasn't a huge part of that nasty defense now? Muschamp is getting exposed.

Yes, I think he was the reason WM had a good defense. He is gone, and the d has been slipping ever since.

Sharrif Floyd, Omar Hunter, Dominique Easley, John Bostic, Matt Elam.

More 5 star players than we have on the entire team now. NFL starters right up the middle.

There is your answer.

Stop it ox. Meyer broke this program by bringing in the number 1 recruiting class the year before muschamp got here. Muschamp was dealt a tough hand has rebuilt this program.

I had posted something similar on Swamp Gas about the lack of dominant DTs that made the 2012 so damn great. I was blasted and told that we have as good or better horses on the dline.

We're not getting elite talent anymore. It is a notch below and it shows.

Some of Quinn, more of the talent on that team.

Muschamp was exposed by Alabama in the national title game after the 2009 season. Anybody that didn't see that must have had their head in the sand. Terrible hire from day one. And yes, Quinn did a great job for us.

Quinn did a great job with our defense, but he also had a roster full of studs to work with.

As with most things, the answer is usually midway between opinions. Quinn is very good teacher at a position that's critical to defensive success and we had much better talent then.

That team stayed healthy as well. We had no margin for error that year. Jenkins stayed hurt for a while, and we were lucky Morrison filled in so well. We pushed the envelope that year. Hindsight 20/20 and all

Yes without the players and their development no amount of anything will make a team that we desire. Now I see a lack of development and adapting to the talent that is there. So far our coaches have shown little adapting capabilities, and seem stuck on their own ideas no matter what talent they might have.

Our DT talent is there it's just extremely young right now and not ready. Brantley, Bostwick, and Clark were all studs that we landed in the last 2 classes...they'll really be ready next year. But we're still really bad at LB and in the secondary minus Hargreaves. We have some talent at CB but they are also very young and probably a year away from truly being ready. Got to be strong all the way up the middle like 12 but that isn't the case right now.

Have you seen the video where they put a sound chip in a roomba? Evertime it hits something, a human voice reacts like when we stub a toe, hit our head on a cabinet, or hit our knee on the corner of a table.
