Any DB who’s too busy smoking weed to notice the mad hatter is gonna fake the kick, while everyone else in the stadium and watching tv knows it’s a fake kick? Doesn’t deserve to be on the list.

Nobody tops “the eraser”....

Nobody.

Story I've shared elsewhere, but will again. I had a Bama fan in front of me at this game that for over 3 hours was nonstop "John Parker" this and "John Parker" that and just would not STFU...so during this entire pick return I yelled "Roll Tide!" on repeat as Nelson took it to the house. The point was made. And I was 19 so I had a lot less tact

DBU is a fvkking garbage moniker from an embarrassment of a Dwagchump coach.

Everything about "DBU" screams loser and frankly our defensive backs haven't been good for a while anyway.

Safeties are DBs right? We know that, right? Weve been garbage for 5 years.

DBU = loser.

Maybe we need to call ourselves CBu.
Our DBs mainly suck when it's 4th and 20 or we're playing UGA or LSU. They're pretty good the rest of the time (playing FCS teams probably padded the stats).
CJ did good this past year, Elam is gonna be a star next year. I'm most concerned about the LBs.

You clearly havent watched our safeties much.

Elam will be fine but that is one position out of five

But youre right, all out blitzes vs overmatched opponents help hide things a bit. That being said, very few Sunbelt teams would trade us for our safeties.

Yes, you are also right that our LBs are a heaping rotting pile of filth also. We are apparently supposed to be clapping about the excellent job the Dwag GA we hired is doing with LBs though, for some inexplicable reason.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Elijah Williams. He was our best running back and then switched to DB as a senior. Played four years for the Falcons

:lmao2:

Eli played a tad bit of WR too while they were looking for a way to get Taylor, Terry Jackson, and Eli onnthe field at the same time.

Wait for it .....

I’m sure this has something to do with your “any failed WR can covert to DB” mantra... But now you’re mocking a RB who played a significant role with a core of Gators who won 3 SECs and one MNC, which really makes you look stupid.

Mocking? No, this is exactly what we should be doing. Cleveland was a helluva a hitter and would have been an all SECish safety. Instead, we saved him to be a backup WR and get two catches a game.

Eli is an alltime great Gator. He was a reliable back (Fred was hurt so much) with great hands and a real team player. T Jackson too (who also played several positions).

We be well off to have another 10 Eli's and Terry Jacksons on this team right now. Id start the Eli's at RB, WR, and 5 DBs slots, and the TJs at RB, LB and maybe even TE. Hell, at 220 pounds, Dwagchoker might play a couple of TJs at DE.

There's a reason those guys have five championship rings on their fingers.

I was watching his HS tape and he seemed to play safety mostly. I'm not really clear on what we expect bc we didn't land any real inside LBs in this class. The others are clearly more rush specialist.
I
wonder if we force him to ILB. That is a big transition for a safety. Who knows where he plays.
Urlacher style. He was always in DEEP coverage one play. Blowin up the run on the next.

Patrick Peterson, Oh sorry wrong school.

UF: @AlexDaGator was spot on at safety RFN. Followed by the duo in the mid 80's
at CB, Janoris Jenkins was the best pure CB and made the two biggest tackles of the season in his frosh year. Lots of good guys in the discussion tho

But all time great has to be KJ

Eli Williams is the head coach at Boone HS in Orlando. He's put out a few good prospects over the years (including his previous head coaching job). This year he has SDE Shambre Jackson, a 4-star top 50 Florida prospect.

You had me worried. I thought the ‘rona was taking you from Crazytown to Lobotomyville.
