Just saw Durkin speak of it on Gatorvision...apparently Debose decided not to play. Not a great way to end your career. Cummings violated a team rule and did not make the trip.

Why would Debose be trying to avoid injury? This was going to be the last regular/post season football game that he will ever play. There is not one pay for play football league in the world that Debose is good enough to play in.

This is really a bad move IMO. He gets a chance to shine on national TV and he opts to protect his body. I wonder if it occurs to him that if none of the scouts gives a crap about him, it won't matter how healthy he is.
