DJ needed another year and we really could have used him last year; however, good riddance. The guy obviously didn't want to put the work ethic in to be great..i.e. Robinson.

He definitely shouldn't have been a first round pick, but for his sake I hope he actually has matured and has a solid career.

you are right about this, but he probably didn't want to go through his 4th offensive coordinator..

Getting regularly whipped on the field for 3 years somehow DIDN'T humble him???

He couldn't dominate Vandy's DL and he thought he was going to stroll into the NFL and dominate those DL?

This is as much the fault of the team that drafted him as anybody. Clearly a team didn't do their research and watch film.

Yeah, this. What exactly did the Cardinals see on film that led them to believe he was a surefire NFL tackle? They must have been drunk.

This is what happens when coaches fall in love with a guy's workout and not his film.

Arians stated early in camp last year that he was soft with no work ethic. He even gave him the nickname "knee deep" because that's how far he had to stick his foot up his butt to get him to do anything. This is no surprise.

And whose fault is that? Why the hell would you take him in the first round?

Why did they draft him? Enjoy the read. :lmao2:

"Nasty play demeanor with legitimate toughness to his game. Plays through and past the whistle. Stays cranky. Into it all game long vs. LSU's Danielle Hunter. Flexible hips and knees offer up leverage wins as run blocker. Gets down blocks secured and transitions quickly into second-level stalker with ability to mirror moving linebackers in space. As base-blocker, hustles feet into position and works to wall defender off. Has desired foot quickness combined with proper angles to be effective blocker on play side and back side on stretch plays. Gains good ground with kick slide and takes smart angles to cut off the edge. Rarely narrows base in run or pass game. Uses length to help cut off inside rush moves."

Humphries must have promised whoever wrote that a cut of his first contract.

I told you fools he'd be a first three rounds guy.

This is the way of the NFL. Humphreys, Driskels, and Jalen Watkins of the world always can find work with just one good workout despite film showing a career of poor play.

Its a lot easier just to look at a few stopwatches instead of days and days of film.

That description was classic. If he was doing all that we would have been upset about him leaving lol

I've been around a few "professional" sports coaches and scouts whom, I swear, I'd be surprised if they'd make competent grill cooks.
