I banned him for life, but I did him a favor and left the article up for you to laugh at. He even called him "Urban Meyers" at one point....reminded me of Corrine Brown.
That's a good worth comparison right there. Ox bans him and USCe gives him an extension !
What a stumbling article to read, both in football concepts and grammar concepts.
Ox revealed his getting a 2-time NC winning SEC HC wrong = Meyers.
Several times he uses they're for their and possibly he uses it more times than the correct their.
He writes fifth teen for 15.
He puts a period (not a comma) at the end of a gerund phrase. Then makes it mis-modify the Gamecocks =
"Before resigning as the head coach at South Carolina. The Gamecocks had 8 commitments etc., etc."
If you plow through the prior crap, then you get the Gamecocks resigning as HC.
He writes "players families", leaving out the possessive apostrophe -- he does that all through the article.
As to concepts content :
1) Before they hit on Muschamp, USCe took aim at other HCs ... but missed because those were
"non-moving" targets.
2) He says it was the best move USCe could make for their future. Yeah, yeah give him an extension, now.
3) He could sell ice to an Eskimo -- yeah, if Foley were that Eskimo.
4) He admits for USCe to get a recruit class in the top 25 is GREAT !!
5) He says their 2017 class will crack the top 25 and their 2018 class will crack the top 15 (after a 4-8 season?).
Thanks for leaving it up, ox ... that was fun and funny.
