Gator Baseball Super Regional vs. the Clowns

Here is the schedule for the weekend if you want t set your DVR:
Saturday: Florida State (40-20) vs. Florida (50-13), 6 p.m., ESPN2
Sunday: Florida State vs. Florida, 6 p.m., ESPN2/ESPNU
Monday (If necessary): Florida State vs. Florida, TBA

We are 3-0 this year, 6-0 the past two years. 10-1 at home for Kevin O'Sullivan.

Despite this I think we are evenly matched and both teams swept their regionals and finished strong at the plate. We have the upper hand on the mound but they have been swinging the bats really well lately.
Hopefully with Alonso back and hitting better then ever we can keep it going and make it back to Omaha.
If Pete stays hot and JJ picks up where he left off last game we should do well. It would be even better if JJ picked up where he left off last year and smacked the crap out of the ball and had several dingers.

Still good news that Sully switched Puk and Faedo. Despite Puk being drafted higher and potentially being the best of the bunch he hasn't been the best this season or even this post season. So good decision by Sully.

Being reported on multiple sites Shore will go game 2. Alex F has been the best down the stretch..I'm ok with he or Shore pitching Game1, although Shore has been the series setter all season.
