Gator Expectations

I am a Gator fan and I expect:

1. All of our athletes will go to class and make appropriate advancement to a degree.
2. All of our athletes will obey the laws and the code of conduct at UF or suffer the consequences that any other student would, perhaps more severe for some.
3. All of our athletes perform to their capabilities.
4.All of our coaches perform to their capabilities and field competitive teams or be replaced. They also must behave in a manner that is a good representative of UF.

Being a process based person with the quality of athletes we obtain many wins for every sport will result.

I expect the Gators to play with class. I expect the team and coach to represent the school with dignity. I understand that college football is cyclical and NOBODY stays on top forever. I expect there to be down years and great years. I expect real Gators to always support the team.

I support the team, even JD. Just not the coach.

Hello,
I'm a Gator Fan and I have the following expectations:

1) I expect 10 wins a season, every season.
2) I expect to never lose in The Swamp.
3) I expect to be favored in every regular season game.
4) I expect to be ranked in the top 5 from pre season to post season, 365 days a year.
5) I expect the NC conversation to always include us.
6) I expect to score on the first possession, be up at half and play scrubs in the fourth.
7) And finally I expect very 10 years or so to have a Heisman winning, bible toting, NFL stinking QB.

To get the best results you have to expect the best results. My how we have lowered standards around these parts. Read in another thread where we had folks hopeful in a moral victory.

Why cant we comment on the original post? I agree that we have to have high standards. Some people seem to support the coach over the team-which is talented. The coach is not talented. Or I should the coach is talented on defense only.

Mediocrity is an ugly thing

Mediocrity is tearing me up inside. I know the Gators are better than the way they are being coached. JD has had a zillion OCs, and is confused and has lost confidence in himself. He was the top QB coming out of HS, but the bad coaching has destroyed him.

Because we barely beat KY. Even if we get blown out tomorrow, we still could be #1 in SECE.

I support the coach as long as he is our coach. Depending on his performance, I may think he needs to go, but while he is the HC, I support him and want him to succeed.
