If UK beat UF tommorrow it will currently be a quadrant 1 win for UK. That implies to me that UF winning is hardly impossible.

The doom and gloom on this thread encouraged me to look at the matchup. Here are the 8 players who average the most minutes per game who are not injured or have transfered:

UF

A. Nembhard, 6'5" 205 lbs FR, 31.8 min, 7.3 points, 2.7 boards, 6.0 assists, 2.3 turnovers shooting .383 inside the arc, .333 from outside the arc and .714 from the FT line.
K. Allen, 6'2" 183 lbs SR, 29.3 min, 13.2 points, 2.6 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.7 turnovers shooting .488 inside the arc, .373 from outside the arc and .875 from the FT line.
N. Locke, 6'3" 205 lbs FR, 24.6 min, 11.7 points, 2.3 boards, 0.6 assists, 0.4 turnovers shooting .373 inside the arc, .429 from outside the arc and .781 from the FT line.
K. Hayes, 6'9" 227 lbs SR, 23.0 min, 7.0 points, 6.3 boards, 0.7 assists, 1.5 turnovers shooting .655 inside the arc, .000 from outside the arc and .617 from the FT line.
K. Johnson, 6'5" 225 lbs FR, 20.2 min, 6.7 points, 5.2 boards, 1.2 assists, 2.0 turnovers shooting .495 inside the arc, .400 from outside the arc and .583 from the FT line.
J. Hudson, 6'5" 195 lbs SR, 17.0 min, 6,2 points, 2.4 boards, 0.8 assists, 0.7 turnovers shooting .348 inside the arc, .248 from outside the arc and .583 from the FT line.
D. Ballard, 6'5" 195 lbs SO, 14.5 min, 6.2 points, 1.8 boards, 0.3 assists, 1.4 turnovers shooting .540 inside the arc, .321 from outside the arc and .750 from the FT line.
D. Bassett, 6'9" 222 lbs SO, 12.3 min, 3.1 points, 2.7 boards, 0.3 assists, 2.1 turnovers shooting .531 inside the arc, .333 from outside the arc and .571 from the FT line.

UK

T. Hero, 6'5" 192 lbs FR, 30.8 min, 13.3 points, 4.3 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.8 turnovers shooting .538 inside the arc, .330 from outside the arc and .911 from the FT line.
K. Johnson, 6'6" 211 lbs FR, 29.7 min, 14.5 points, 5.1 boards, 1.6 assists, 1.9 turnovers shooting .562 inside the arc, .426 from outside the arc and .744 from the FT line.
P. Washington, 6'7" 236 lbs SO, 28.1 min, 13.4 points, 8.3 boards, 1.9 assists, 1.7 turnovers shooting .545 inside the arc, .415 from outside the arc and .693 from the FT line.
T. Reid, 6'8" 240 lbs SR, 27.8 min, 12.3 points, 6.8 boards, 1.0 assists, 1.6 turnovers shooting .565 inside the arc, .294 from outside the arc and .731 from the FT line.
A. Hagans, 6'3" 190 lbs FR, 25.9 min, 7.6 points, 2.4 boards, 4.3 assists, 2.3 turnovers shooting .515 inside the arc, .211 from outside the arc and .750 from the FT line.
E. Montgomery, 6'10" 228 lbs FR, 13.9 min, 4.1 points, 3.4 boards, 0.4 assists, 0.9 turnovers shooting .472 inside the arc, .167 from outside the arc and .688 from the FT line.
N. Richards, 6'11" 240 lbs So, 11.7 min, 3.7 points, 3.3 boards, 0.3 assists, 0.6 turnovers shooting .574 inside the arc, .000 from outside the arc and .633 from the FT line.

So UF is not outsized in this game. I guess Cal could play both his bigs and try to get an advantage that way, but that is not what he has been doing this year. Hayes might have a little bit of an inside advantage this game.

I expect UF to match up well with UK. I expect UF to come out and play hard. As always, it will come down to if UF's offense clicks enough.

We are outsized when accounting for all players imo and adding in how their players with size play. PJ and Reid are monsters down low, heck Reid went for like 38 pts and 22 reb against us last year lol

As my good buddy LeeForThree might say, it is a different thing to have a 6'5" Keyontae Johnson matching up against one of those two UK players inside and having Egor Koulechov matching up against them last year.

Florida is up 12-9 at the under 16 timeout. Really fast pace. We have missed some open shots, but made some as well. Really good movment early and Nembhard is playing really well.

Florida is up 17-13 at the under 12 timeout. Not a good segment. UK has a crap ton of offensive rebounds already, but lur defense has been pretty darn good. Offensively we are just too strong on a few shots, some good looks though

Horrible offense the last 8 min basically

I thought the Hudson turn around was good offense, the shot just did not fall. I think taking it to the rim is a good strategy against this team. That last screw around until Allen has to take a long 3 was bad offense.

There have been a few good possessions, the last 4 or 5 have been slow and all dribbling imo
