In Kirby's first year he made a lot of management errors IMO and since I think that is an innate not learned quality I thought he would not succeed, but he did seem to improve in year 2 to my surprise. But just in the is game alone with his failure to use the middle of the field late to set up a FG and then that defensive timeout when USCe was totally disorganized to me is/was inexcuseable. But you make your own bed so sleep in it.
