Yeah, I guess they wanted the baby to be closest to the action. From my analysis, there appears to have been several safety protocols ignored, including placing a shirtless baby in a bassinet a dozen feet from the launch area.

They took an oath of silence. Funny shyt! It’s quite amazing that none of those people or neighbors have come forward yet
I find a fire-retardant jumper comes in handy here. You can actually place the child even closer to the action if they are properly dressed.I could be wrong, and he can correct me if so, but I believe Pasty’s issue was more about the kid being shirtless and less about proximity to the action. Kids should always being properly clothes. Naturally, though, a baby is going to be the smallest of the group. So if you put him or her in the back, they won’t see anything.
Since burning embers rain down around fireworks, being shirtless is probably a little more relevant here. You can tell that shirtless kid got burned on his back. Fire and swimsuits don't seem to mix well.I could be wrong, and he can correct me if so, but I believe Pasty’s issue was more about the kid being shirtless and less about proximity to the action. This was a great top-to-bottom display of mass idiocy. I'm not surprised the family is staying silent. I wonder who leaked the video?

There's also no way the cops didn't show up after this, and probably the fire department. The explosion must have triggered a dozen 911 calls from the neighbors.
You can usually tell when something is staged. No way in hell that one was staged, with kids all over the place.I found one article on the video and it said SimpliSafe released the video.
SimpliSafe's urgent plea after family run from firework explosion on camera
SimpliSafe has finally addressed the moment a fireworks explosion was supposedly caught on one of their cameras on July 4th.www.hitc.com
A statement read: “We’ve received many comments and inquiries today about whether this was a planned event. We exist to protect our customers and don’t make light of events that put their safety at risk.”
“If you are or know someone in this video please let us know if everyone involved is safe.”
Despite SimpliSafe’s call for answers, there does not appear to be any at this point in time. It is unclear whether the Twitter user who uploaded the footage was responsible for the recording, who anyone in the video is, or whether the footage is even genuine.
However, SimpliSafe has confirmed to The Focus that the footage was not part of a marketing scheme. They added they were surprised to see the footage emerge online.
The company are making attempts to get in touch with the family to make sure they’re safe and well.
Well of course SimpliSafe knows who the family is. Someone is paying the bill from that house.I found one article on the video and it said SimpliSafe released the video.

That was my reaction as well. The retards in the video had their privacy violated by SimpliSafe when someone inside the company released this video. They released it either because some insensitive, boarish, male thought it was funny to watch retarded people break out into panic while they are getting burned by firework fragments, as I did, or they did it for publicity. Either way, I'm sure there is a slimy plaintiff attorney sporting a raging hard-on as we speak.Well of course SimpliSafe knows who the family is. Someone is paying the bill from that house.
