In your defense, KC, you also correctly identified Muschamp as an awful coach well before the rest of us - including myself. So you're entitled to a mistake occasionally.
But I think the elephant in the room, here, still needs to be addressed. From the tone of the responses on this thread, it seems like people are subtly implying that you liked Treon as our QB because merely because he looks like you, or rather, as our race-baiting president would say, if you had a son, he'd look like Treon. For the record, here's you:

I'm sure he's gonna have his head-scratching moments moving forward and possibly even cost us a game or two with that gunslinger mentality, but he was lights out last night and I can't recall a better half of football from a UF QB ever.

Having WM for a coach will do that to you. It kind of kills any brain cells of what happened before he came, and all you're left with is that numb feeling that craptastic plays are the norm. Think back to 52-20, or to Meyers NC games...you'll feel better. But still, WG has had the light come one and it is fun to watch Gator football again.

I think you're right, he's going to have some mistakes somewhere along the line. I don't know how bad they'll be, but they'll happen somewhere, sometime. And ya know what? I'm OK with that given the upside we see in the future with him.

I was going to refer to him as fcktard or Pee on Hair Ass, which I knew would be perfectly acceptable to many of the folks on this board. Instead I googled "rapist quarterback" and got that image. Re watching the Ole Miss game. What stands out the most on Grier
is he throws the ball better under pressure than when he has
plenty of time. He made some incredible throws under pressure.

I never said Grier wasn't a good QB, I just wasn't totally convinced on him at the time. So far, he's proven me wrong and am happy about that. He's playing good ball.
