I like his size. But we just had a conversation in the other thread about how the state of FLorida is loaded with WR's for the next recruiting cycle. So why are we taking non ranked 3 star receiver with so many others out there?

Because the coaches wanted to. What are your credentials for turning down a recruit; you can read Rivals rankings?

Isaiah Johnson said that he is recruiting Binjimen Victor

@AndrewSpiveyGC: New #Gators commit Isaiah Johnson says that he's going to try to get @BinjimenVictor to join him at #Florida.

Victor is 6'4"

But will Victor listen to a lowly 3-star, that's the question. :)

My creds? By gawd I'm a gatorchatter member!! that ranks up there with all the other experts in the nation.

Here are the rankings http://sports.yahoo.com/footballrec...s/rank-3519;_ylt=AiDWe9KBFzJvFrSt4DyrRVJGPZB4

Florida has 12 of the top 50, We all the know that the star ranking is an educated guess, but the probability of higher rated players having a bigger impact is also well known. I hope Macdaddy proves me wrong and this kid turns in to an All American, but I don't see the need to make the offer and give up a scholly this early to this caliber of a player.

You don't turn down 6'3" receivers from that area. I like that we're going after bigger receivers

:chomp: Don't be surprised for several of our kids evaluations to change. They are just juniors and still have camps to attend.

Remember we have about 35 schollies available. There will plenty of room for the 4 or 5s.

I'm much less concerned about us taking a 3 star from Florida than a 4 or 5 star from the most anywhere else. Owning South Florida is a good thing. Only a few weeks ago we couldn't even flip a two star from UCF or Indiana.

It takes a special kind of Gator fan to try and turn excellent Gator recruiting news into something less than excellent Gator recruiting news.

I really like this kid, but he will probably never run an official 4.5 in the 40. Could play tight end at 250 lbs - slightly slower version of Aaron Hernandez.

Sooo... he weighs 190 lbs and our braintrust has him moving to TE, huh?

But Grier weighs 190 and hes too small to play QB per most here.

Any receiver over 6 Foot the board wants to move him to tight end any running back over 200 lbs the board wants to move him to linebacker
