This is gonna strike some of you as ridiculous, but I believe it's true. Muschamp's team has to put up a 30-spot or better on Idaho in the first half or he's toast. Here's why. There are legions of UF fans just waiting to pounce on the initial sign of failure in this, Muschamp's deciding fourth season. Well, here it is, a cupcake opponent in a do-or-die scenario, this time the opener. If we struggle, the noise in the system will become so unbearable that the younger players will find it impossible not to be affected. It'll be all downhill from there.

Never thought I'd be writing this about a UF team. Welcome to now.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not sure 30 in one half is necessary but 45 for the game is the bare minimum IMO.

BTW, what is this opponent's name, the Spuds? Whatever it is, Muschamp has to prove that things really are different. I think you're right, Knox. We need a 40-spot in the the first half, maybe 50. I know Roper can do it. He showed me he's a genius in the spring game.

100 or bust! ;)

I think if we can get a gigantic crane and lift one end of the field, that may be attainable.

I'm a pretty big WM critic, but I'm not looking for any certain number. Just think we should dominate this team on BOTH sides of the ball. If that ends up 35-0, then I'm fine with it.

100 points in September will be a huge improvement.

If he is up 21-3 at half and wins the game 35 - 10 he will be fine. Your out of your mind if you think he has to put up 30 points or he is toast. I honestly think they are going to try to score a lot and often.

No, I've changed it to 50 and, yes, I am out of my mind. Can you help save me?

Yep. Idaho is not your average cupcake. They are much worse.

You know, I forgot that no one expects us to score 25 let alone 30 in a half. If we score 35 for the entire game, it'll look like Muschamp has taken a quantum leap. He's got this damage control thing down pat.

Usually offenses take a game or so to click. That was typical with Spurrier offenses as well. I'm not as worried about the 1st game as I am about the second.

We should score 50+. I would not be surprised to see 25 or less.

You're probably right about the opener, but I wanna see us come flying out of the gate and prove to SportsCenter that we are the new and improved Gators. Screw game #2.

I think we have have to score atleast 45+ total. The first half should atleast be exciting,I won't put a number on it.

Click? Really? This Idaho team is BAD.

Worse than a 4-8 team with 7 straight losses bad...or just regular bad?

This is very disturbing that you guys are actually forcing me to scout our opening opponent.

They are bad. Worse than us. They are chock full of 1 star athletes. If the new Muschamp/Roper regime is anywhere near what everybody is saying/hoping for then we should put up 50+. If not, clicking or not, there are still issues.

sounds like it was also the spark that also led you to "love the one you're with" , regardless of their sex

When I was 15 I was on a family Trip in Florence. I left the hotel after dark and walked down to the Arno by myself. At some point I noticed a large group of young travelers hanging out in the middle of a bridge. The entire group was singing "Love the one you're with" around a guy with a guitar. It was quite a moment for a young man with burgeoning wanderlust. I think about it every time hear that song, and I often wonder if that was the spark that made me a constant traveler for almost 40 years.

Their suffering is what brings them closer to Jesus. Catholics know what they're doing. This ain't no Unitarian crap.
:exactly: that is why they invented purgatory to make sure they get even more suffering that what they had here on earth

That face. Endearing love. Impeccable loyalty. And can’t believe you’re lounging around right now with your desk looking that way.
