I am of the camp that let's see what the hell this is all about before we castrate him and put him in front of a firing squad.
Teenagers do stupid **** all the time. What we think of as obvious NOT to do, stupid teenagers do it anyway.
If he is a kiddie porn addict, then I will volunteer to castrate him myself. Growing up on the farm, I was the youngest of three and thus was the cut man when it came time to castrate hogs or bulls.
If he posted this as a smart ass "joke" or whatever he was thinking, I would say beat him with a wooden dowel no bigger than 1 inch. 30 hits to the nutsack ought to do it.
"Child" porn is a broad term covering a wide range of ages. 17 year old kids sharing nudes is child porn, even if they are your pics and you send them, same same. Child porn. Same way with sexual assault. Kissing a girl and grabbing her ass and raping a girl get labeled sexual assault but we all agree there are varying degrees of offense.
Rape images of <15 year old prepubescent girls has a special place in hell for you.
Either way, his time here is done. If you don't have enough sense to realize there are some things you just can't do, you don't have enough sense to play football or attend UF or any other university.

That's kinda why I'm asking. I took a psych class at UF. They defined pedo's as attracted to pre-pubescent, Once the child showed characteristics of developing they are no longer interested.
That's a far cry from being 21 and having a pic of your 17 year-old girlfriend (from when, you too were 17). For Example. One is sick and the other is a stupid mistake, no?
JTBC: Kitna should be gone either way. Letter of the law and all. I'm a firm proponent of drawing lines in the sand.

He shared two pics with someone on his personal discord server. The stupidity necessary to do that should disqualify him from every job except US Senator.
Cops were called and his phone searched where a third pic was found.

I'm pretty sure it was 3 more, not just a third... and that's without doing any true digital forensics on the device (which will be conducted and has the potential to get even uglier).

I Counseled a young man that spent 5 years in prison for dating a 17 year old. He said Florida doesn't play around with this stuff. Serious charges that follow you around forever...your work...your neighborhood...He even had to report to the church he wanted to attend that he was a registered child sex offender.
