So why is he only a rush specialist? Because you've deemed it so?
Do you get tired of this? You should by now. He is an outside linebacker rush specialist and he is NOTHING like a the inside linebackers we didn't land.

At some point, don't you at least absorb some football knowledge by osmosis or something? If you just refused to, maybe you just don't care or don't have time, why not stick to pompomming and forget trying to talk x's and o's with anyone?

As for Kearse, no, he was nothing but a rush specialist. He was very weak against the run and useless in coverage. That's why they made him a 240lb DE in the pros.

I seem to recall he put on a significant amount of weight between the draft and his rookie year. He completely made helmet hair kiper look like and idiot for his "tweener" draft analysis.

Back in '97 an intern in my wife's office was Kearse's tutor. Used to get good tickets because all of his family was either incarcerated or buried. Met him, really good dude and a great gator.

Moon is a good get. Maybe or maybe not great, but a good get.

...says the guy who can't spell his name right!

He lives (or at least used to) in my 'hood. I've run into him at the local pet store. Nice guy.

As tiresome as it is, Law is right to harp on the lack of depth at inside backer, especially with the limited depth at DT. Hopefully Anzalone can stay healthy (doubt it though).

What is Kearse up to now? Any chance he'd take this kid under his wing and help develop the right drive and direction? You know, as a friendly neighbor or something?
