How is responding in kind "Going all snowflake?"

A snowflake would complain to the media or law enforcement that those words harmed them and demand that they make them stop.
A Gator simply responds with a put down that ends the discussion.

I think certain things are generally off limits for trash talk... natural disasters that impact a whole state is generally one of those things.. IMO
