It's the off-season, so please forgive me for starting a thread on woman's basketball....but this is ridiculous.
Think she could coach a men’s team?Is the SC lady coach actually this good or are there behind the scene things going on that made her so successful at LSU and now SC.
My curiosity got the better of me; it was 32-2 at the half, 57-14 after 3, and the final was 87-32. I imagine that for most of the 2nd half USCe must have emptied the bench.
This does happen a lot. Implies two things, 1) not enough talented players compared to the number of available scholarships, and 2) great players want to play with other great players.
I don’t know why, but women’s basketball is a niche sport in my mind. It is almost unwatchable
But women’s basketball sucks in comparison. Big time.
There’s hotties involved in all the sorts you enjoy watching. Hoops...not so much. This does happen a lot. Implies two things, 1) not enough talented players compared to the number of available scholarships, and 2) great players want to play with other great players.
I don’t know why, but women’s basketball is a niche sport in my mind. It is almost unwatchable even when played at the highest level. In comparison women’s tennis, gymnastics, swimming, diving, track, volleyball, softball and soccer are all fantastic to witness when elite athletes are involved.
I find women’s tennis, gymnastics, and volleyball are typically better than the men’s as spectator sport. But women’s basketball sucks in comparison. Big time.

It’s not rocket science.

The game is way too sloppy for me to tolerate it for more than a few minutes.
I tried watching the much hyped UConn/Lady Buttchuggers game last week figuring it would be top shelf at least.
Sloppy is right. Dayum.
