Albert Means was his name and he started his career at Bama but after the $200k payment was discovered, he was allowed to transfer and ended up at Memphis, which is where he was from. He was a great high school player, probably the top D-lineman in the country, HS All American, etc. but he didn't have nearly the success in college that he did in HS.
They gotta lay the blame on someone for the $hit show we're currently witnessingSaw a new excuse today on twitter. The old clutchlikemj/mac can do no wrong group are now blaming Stampini for ruining all of Mac's super secret 5 star flips by reporting.
Damnit. We shoulda given Chump one less year.
Any chance actually flipping him?
Well, we wouldn't have to go to Houston for our 2 star, and this one has actually started a few games in high school at least. Why isn't anyone on this kid? I've heard his name mentioned quite a bit and now I can see why. He's got more ability than any qb we're recruiting at the moment.
Put up ridiculous numbers too. Rather take a flyer on a kid like this than another athlete from alabama or a high school backup from texas. He looks like he definitely has more physical ability than allen.Well, we wouldn't have to go to Houston for our 2 star, and this one has actually started a few games in high school at least.

I mean anybody really. Us in particular with our qb issues. When you say "not on him" do mean just us or any other schools?
He throws very well and into some very tight spots. Good accuracy. Also runs well and avoids pressure. Where is he from?
Great find and post. It's not rocket science. There does have to be a methodical plan in place to establish and continue relationships with the HS coaches, regardless of coaching changes. That is one part of the equation that establishes and maintains the BRAND.Ever wonder why Muschamp had more success recruiting than our current coach? (regardless of his poor offensive recruiting)
From SDS:
https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/s...mps-recruiting-strategy-clemson-championship/
“Clemson under Dabo … even if guys don’t recruit our area, they’ll stop by even if we don’t have a recruit. It’s about keeping the relationship, because they know one day we will. South Carolina for the last couple of years under Spurrier, we would only see the coach who recruited our area,” Call said.
“Now since Muschamp’s been there, and he’s been there (just over) a year, I’ve had seven different coaches from South Carolina come through our school, just to meet me, meet our assistants, establish relationships. Because they know eventually, we are going to have a recruit that’s going to play for them and they’re going to want. That’s been the biggest difference.”
