Mets Daniel Murphy hits another Dinger

Murphy has hit 7 homers this post season. Miraculously, he has hit 6 in the last 6 games. Something that has never been done before in the post season.

I hate Daniel Murphy. I can't wait till he gets overpaid by some idiotic team like the Dodgers and ends up hitting .220 with 4 home runs a year the rest of his career.

Yep, went to Englewood HS - which has always produced quality baseball players....although that area of Jacksonville (demographics) has significantly changed over the last 10-20 years.

He's had a hell of a run...and as Sasquatch said, someone is about to over pay for him. He hit a career high 14 HR's this year....but is on a tear this postseason, which will prompt someone to over pay for his services. Good for him though.

Agree able it all except the hate. It's not just that he has hit the home runs. He is just seeing my the ball very well and getting hits left and right. He was 3 for 4 last night before he hit the dinger. Juicing would certainly make you stronger and able to hit the ball further but it wouldn't help you become a better hitter period. So I doubt that he is on something.

Looks like the Cubs' carriage turned back into a pumpkin. They'll be back, though. They're loaded with young talent. SP Arrieta was a monster after the All-Star break.
