Smoked wings with a dry rub are my favorites. Living in the DC area for as long as I did I'm now a fan of Old Bay on wings.

The classic sauce is butter and Franks. I’ve made it with Crystal or Louisiana as well. The difference is Franks has garlic in it.

Some places use butter flavored crisco instead of butter. Butter has water in it, shortening does not.

Crystal is my go-to sauce. Same taste as Tabasco but a little less heat.

Marinade for hours in melted butter, garlic, kosher salt, Lowrey’s salt and Texas Pete hot sauce.

Cook on the grill or air fryer.
