After the positive momentum today, Mac following up in the next 24 to 48 hours with a couple of big time assistant coaching hires would go a loooong way to regaining some trust from a big portion of the fan base.

Today at least takes the recruiting thing out of it for a while. He has improved there every season. Now if he can just get a QB ready to play at a high level.

I think pretty much everyone has been worried about recruiting and not signing any 5 stars isnt good but overall I think he did a decent job.

Gosh, maybe Mac can recruit after all. Perhaps he IS a closer. Maybe Stricklin isn't the buffoon some have painted him as. All trolling aside, a Top 10 class is a huge positive and far exceeded expectations. They really did have some great news on NSD! Hopefully everyone here enjoys this even if the joy only lasts a short time.
