Crazy that UF handled his situation properly, isn't it Guyblow?

At FSU, they'd be paying for his defense team.

J.C. Jackson is scheduled to appear September 9 in court. The prosecution made available part of their case against him. https://florida.247sports.com/Bolt/State-outlines-witness-statements-in-Jackson-case-38701610

What Jackson is facing is decades of prison time. What is sad is that he probably would have avoided prosecution if he had identified the other suspects.

Have they ever found the other perps that did the actual robbery? He is acting like he has something to hide but without them it may be hard to get a felony conviction. Still laughing about his lawyer telling the press that he didn't come into the apt. with the others according to the witness statements when they did say he came in there with them before leaving.

You would think they could find the other perps with cell phone records or something.

How silly are you? The fact is that you are suspended from school automatically if you are charged with a felony, and it doesn't matter if the school is UF or FSU. To act like UF did something any different than FSU, or any other school in the state, is just infantile. One thing did happen, though, McElwain's silence about Jackson showed that he would have loved to keep him, but, as stated above, it was out of his hands. What posters like you ignore is that this can happen to any school. UF actually beat out FSU and Miami for Jackson, and it was a tremendous recruiting victory for UF. If Jackson had picked one of the other schools you would be crowing about the "felons" there. But I suppose expecting a fan to be rational is too much to ask.

You really should read more and post less. Halfazzu's policy is much different than Florida's. Jackson was removed from the team and the school BEFORE charges were even brought against him and Macs silence was because the kid was done and the team had moved on. On the other hand, you have your boy cook who is already charged, with multiple witnesses ready to testify they saw him commit the crime, yet he is in a team photo only 2 days ago. Take your felatio back to whorechant, we dont speak cock-in-mouth around here squaw.

McElwain's silence does not show that he would have kept him if the school hadn't suspended him already. He's consistently kept things close to the vest when it comes to revealing information to the media, and so naturally he isn't going to comment when a player gets arrested. You have no idea what he was thinking when this was going on, so don't try to act like you do.

You are not correct. UF did not suspend him before he was arrested. He wasn't formally charged until months later, but his arrest on a felony charge automatically triggered his suspension. As for Cook, you forget he is charged with a misdemeanor, and you are not suspended automatically for a misdemeanor. You also are wrong when you say "multiple" witnesses saw him commit the crime. There is only one, the alleged victim. So, once again, you show you have no idea what you are talking about. A trial is scheduled to determine Cook's guilt or innocence, and you making up stuff will not change any facts.

This may be a new one - a little different than Schultz's style it seems...
