We aren’t very fundamentally sound on defense.
Back door cuts, screens for open 3’s, lots of hustle and effort but lacking fundamentals and TEAM defense.
Thinking that should improve as the season progresses.
Really disappointed in the offense.
Missed dunks, missed layups, missed tip Ins, but, this damn “look at me” offense just doesn’t work for me.

I watched the 2nd half. You are spot on with your first sentence. Right now the team is horrendous defensively in the half court.

Damn, I guess I’ll come to CTGs defense again. Xavier’s a good team. Took #11 Indiana to the wire, and shot effing lights out against us. Open looks or not, that’s still some incredible shooting on their part. We’ve been on the unfortunate side of 2 teams getting torching hot against us (both of our losses); and as others have eluded, our defense should get better as the team gets more experience with each other. And getting Jones out of the rotation, hopefully.
It’s a long season and I still think this team can be good; we’re taking our lumps now and we’re far from hitting our stride. Maybe I’m still riding the ‘Mike White is gone high’, but I’m not ready to throw in the towel on this team or Golden Boy.

He has cost us in EVERY single game this year that I've watched; and even in games I haven't, a common theme on here is how his poor turnovers seemingly always lead to a run by the other team.

I have seen absolutely nothing from him that warrants playing time. He's not scoring--and worse, he's s a turnover machine when we're on offense; and is a joke defensively.

Why Golden keeps playing him is a complete mystery.

Anybody know why Kowacie Reeves didn't play? I watched most of the game, but with the sound off. They kept showing him on camera long enough they were clearly talking about him, but I didn't know if it was injury or suspension or what. I'm pretty sure he didn't pay a minute.
