The problem is we should have been up 35+ points and the starters should have been on the bench. Our schedule gets real next week. Too bad the team and coaches weren't prepared to blow out a 1-11 team.

Well, for what we were responsible for :
1) LDR's long throws were short, behind the WR
2) LDR threw to deep men who were well covered. Gonna get intercepted.
3) OL flopped on most runs and pass pro.
4) Thompson looks sluggish.
5) Nuss called a poor game, nobody fooled.
6) Powell tried hard. LDR would not have gotten the ball long enough to reach Callahan.?
7) Way too many penalties, esp interference.
8) Appleby as a 5th year senior should be more useful. He's not at all.

Versus UT, our D will have to choke their O.

And this will be his excuse for the year even though the offense has struggled to put points on the board against 2/3 games so far this year. I'm sitting at the game with my 8 year old nephew and he looks at me and says uncle Kevin why does our offense suck so bad but our defense is so good? I just laughed and thought of y'all here at gatorchatter had no response for him

Defense played lights out though.
