I kept sayin' just throw it to Pearsall every play. I especially liked the Mertz-Pearsall-Wilson play. That's when I knew the ball was bouncing our way. Can't believe USCe tried to cover Pearsall 1v1 on the last 4th & 10. Mertz got beat up a lot, but figured out how to escape the pocket faster in the 4th qtr. I've not been his biggest fan but today he was tough.
The big question now is : Can Armstrong put together a game plan vs UGA?

Mertz ran out the back of the end zone with three seconds left. SC had no time outs and the free kick used up three seconds. Under the circumstances, it was the safest option and we won.
