Happy these guys won, but the free throwing is atrocious. As I mentioned in another post, they need to bring in Rick Barry. I don't care if they shoot under hand FTs. Just make them.

The PGs definitely need to work on the free throws, but I was still happy with 8 assists to 1 turnover from Hill and the great rebounding effort from cheese. Can't believe chiozza had as many boards as Walker and Horford combined. Didn't understand at all why Carter was on the bench when they started fouling us.

So what did y'all think of the big lineup Billy went with in the first half - Horford, Walker, Murphy, Robinson and Hill? I've watched almost all of the games and I don't think I've seen that one before.

It is crazy - we had guards hitting over 80% free throws in some past years. Well if Bama loses their last game and Vandy loses one of their 2 final games or if Vandy loses their last 2 games we get the 7th seed and avoid KY until the SECT championship game if we can get that far.

It's odd, but true, seeing people call Kurtz both the worst (skill) player and the best (IQ, Hustle, give-it-all) player on the team. Glad he goes out with a win.

I know by now, if I were one of the players, I'd be get 15-30 minutes of pointers from the staff on my free throws. Then once or twice a day I'd have my butt at a court until I made 100 of them, every day. Yeah, nobody else is doing any better, but you can't control what they do, you CAN control how YOU do when you get to the line. Be the hero, make a dang FT.

Maybe the rims in college are scarier? Or the players lined up on the block are bigger and meaner and more intimidating? I'm just kidding around. The players need to work on how to block out everything but themself and the rim - get help if needed.

Billy probably wanted him at the line so he could be good and properly embarrassed by his pathetic free throw ability. I mean it's college BBall here, shouldn't he have learned how to shoot free throws in the little leagues?
