I always thought UF could just recruit a top 20 class by itself. Will Muschamp really did damage the UF brand. I know it will turn around eventually but that POS should never be allowed back to Gainesville. This class is ranked 100 on Rivals. WTF.

This staff has a lot of work in front of it to even return us to respectability. Foley f ed up big time.

It is a troubling trend. EVERY school in America has guys visit and commit almost immediately. Well, we've hosted about 16 guys over the last two weekends and.... nothing. If we're enouraging guys to hold off on commitments, it's part risky, part ignorant and part insane.

Maybe McElwain has bad breath or something?

Well then that makes McElwain the worst recruiter in the world. He's pathetic if he can't get a 3 star kid from Florida to come play for him. We are in deep doo doo.

I really think our previous staff mailed it in on the recruiting trail. After we got throttled at Bama, everyone knew what the season would end like and the staff knew they were gone. I think we'll have to wait until 2016 to see how well this staff does recruiting.

We've had 1 (3*) commit since August and nothing for over a month. Keep making excuses for him. I'm actually trying to give him some credit that something good is going on in recruiting. I refuse to think Florida's brand is that bad and our coaches just can't recruit. I may end up looking like the biggest idiot in Gator Nation but it's the only rational thing I have.

How do you explain the University of Florida not being able to get a single commit in the six weeks leading up to signing day?

IDK if it's a mix of an enigma on the UF Program, Coach Mac not having time with these recruits or our rivals having former employees recruiting against us, but something just doesn't add up which sucks.

Refuse to believe it all you want. We are damaged goods right now and it's not going to change overnight. That's what you get for bringing back that POS after a 4-8 season when the entire world knew he was NOT going to be able to turn it around.

On Twitter I follow just about every sports reporter that covers the University of Florida and the south east . Also just about every major recruting agency and recruitnik in the south east. My Twitter feed is filled with commitment announcements right now. Guys are commiting to just about every SEC school or southern school right now. Their are kids from Florida annoucing to places like Maryland, Rutgers, GT, UVA, PSU, NCST, WVU etc...

UF and McElwain? Crickets.
