Old private message recovery?

Is there a way to recover a private message from the old board? I figure this would fall under conversations, but didn't see anything. Also, I haven't figured out how to actually start a conversation.

On the desktop view? Roll over the envelope by your name and click "start conversation".

Okay, give me a second. I figured out why you can't start a conversation and why people can't edit their posts.

Well, I figured out the problem, but the solution is going into every member 1 at a time to fix it.

Me too, but it brought a lot of old PMs that I thought I'd deleted, and now I can't delete them.
