Not that that matters . . . Ha! I think the dearth of Tennessee players going to the NFL last year speaks volumes about the talent differential between them and Florida. Butch Jones seems to have bumped them up a notch, but they are not at the level of competition they need to be to beat Florida. I have confidence in Mac. With Del Rio at quarterback, and the stable of running backs we have, I have no doubt that we will score. I also think our defense, particularly our secondary, will keep the Vols in check. I would love to see Pineiro nail a 52-yarder in Neyland Stadium.

I guess they didn't think about us replacing most of our leaving players with better options on offense or the fact that we also have a good bit of talent returning the defensive side of the ball. Our crap offense scored 28 on them last year. I hope that they expect a crap offense to show up this year because they will be gravely mistaken.

Nobody makes up the odds. The odds are determined by betting patterns. The casinos don't care who wins, they only care that approximately equal amounts of money are bet for each outcome so they can make their guaranteed income. If (when) more money is bet on the Gators the point spread will come down. This looks like an opportunity since moronic Tennessee betters seem to have influenced the point spread. However, as much as I would like to make big bucks, I'm not going to change my longstanding rule of not betting on sporting events.
