Not that that matters . . . Ha! I think the dearth of Tennessee players going to the NFL last year speaks volumes about the talent differential between them and Florida. Butch Jones seems to have bumped them up a notch, but they are not at the level of competition they need to be to beat Florida. I have confidence in Mac. With Del Rio at quarterback, and the stable of running backs we have, I have no doubt that we will score. I also think our defense, particularly our secondary, will keep the Vols in check. I would love to see Pineiro nail a 52-yarder in Neyland Stadium.

This is hilarious. I hope they bump it up. All the love and nothing to base it on. They must be trying to drum up some action.

The greatest Gator rebuke would be for our D to shut down Hurd and Dobbs.
Those two have been included in the Heisman hunt. Perhaps Gators could eliminate their H candidacy.

Hell, I'd be tempted to bet on whether or not Bandboy is fired by the end of September. I don't think he lasts long, unfortunately.

South Point Casino issued early lines for several games in the first half of the season and posted Tennessee as a 12.5-point favorite over Florida for that home game to open the conference season.

It might be worth flying out there.

Versus the Gators, the opening line for Tennessee is: "A funny thing happened to us on the way
to this game and boy are our arms tired ???"

I think we continue the streak, but I am far from objective. That said, it is reasonable to think we could lose on the road. Hell, some people are picking the Chuggers to beat Bammer this year.

What is downright ridiculous is thinking we'll lose by 13, which is what it would take for the Chuggers to cover a 12.5 point spread. I take us all day long while getting 12.5 from them.

A lot can change in the coming weeks. I think you'll see a closing line closer to a touchdown as kickoff of this game nears.

Does that line factor in the moral victory factor used in Knoxville? :dunno:
