There's no question this lies completely at the feet of Urban Meyer.
 
It happens among athletes from all sports, but the NFL stands out in terms of numbers. Is it that the game is predicated on violence and so the players go around perpetually jacked up? Is it tied to socio-economics? Have players become too entitled in their outlook? All of the above? I could be very wrong, but the NHL paints a very physical self-image and its players aren't involved in this stuff nearly to the degree the NFL is.
