I think a lot of that is because he went to Ole Piss on his own dime.

I don't read that much into that. Obviously it's more than just letting them bring you in on an official. But it's probably like an 8 hour drive for a couple of HS kids with tons of energy, and probably cost a couple hundred bucks(who knows where that money even came from) to go party and be a star for a weekend.

Ronald Powell and Josh Shaw flying from Cali on their own dime means something. I'm not 100% sure this does.

We never had to make excuses for Spurrier or Meyer.

They got hired in December also.
