Shane Beamer has cashed in on an 8-5 second season that included wins over #5 Tennessee and #8 Clemson with a whopping $4 mil pay increase that leaves him the eighth-highest paid coach in the SEC. The contract averages $6.5 mil annually and extends to 2027.
The increase leaves Beamer positioned beneath Billy Napier but ahead of Josh Heupel in pay.
Beamer, 45, who succeeded Will Muschamp, was hired by Steve Spurrier as an assistant at South Carolina in 2007.
I'm surprised this wasn't posted earlier given the obvious impact on Florida.
