Sooo. As a result of doing my taxes I found a long lost brokerage account with a few shekels in it and it got me nostalgic for the days of playing the market.
Anybody else like a little Wall Street casino action?
Based on the stocks in this portfolio it must have been a long term hold account:
T (AT&T) Bought at $28 now at $38
NEE (Nextera Energy) Bought at $53 now at $118
C (Citigroup) Bought at $30 now $43
T: Not sure why I bought that - must have been buying quality. Interestingly my target was $39. I'll hold that until the iPhone 7 release betting that the stock will go up until then.
NEE: Energy play. Florida power company (subsidiary of FPL?). This was simply a bet on Florida's population growth. The stock has done well and coincidentally is getting added to the S&P 100 Monday. I think I'll hold this.
C: Citigroup. I think I bought this with the theory that what goes down must come up and it was recently at $59. I'll see if I can wait until it gets to the mid $50s again and sell.
Anybody have any ideas? Oil looks really attractive at a 10 year low.
