Yes, as I understand it, he was the star of spring practice, passing established vererans on the depth chart, practicing like a pro and threatening for a starting position. Then he decided to transfer and it was discovered that every receiver had been beating him like a borrowed mule all the time.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Another of Florida's transfers this offseason has transferred to a program where he'll reunite with a former coach.

On Saturday afternoon, former UF linebacker Rayshad Jackson announced that he will be transferring to UNLV. Former Florida running backs and linebackers coach Tim Skipper is the defensive coordinator for the Runnin' Rebels.

In addition, Jackson will be reunited with former teammate Cristian Garcia, who is a graduate assistant working on the defensive side of the ball for UNLV.

He is a nice kid, Im sure. He just wasnt p5 talent, obviously.

Kinda cool Garcia is there. Hope we hire him back as a QA when we finally expand our staff to an elite level.
