Firing a guy for cause for committing recruiting violations. What a damn great idea that is.
I was there, that POS deserved it!
Pretty sure in Florida that kind of thing would be an ethics violation.
Alex.
If he was directed to or had the blessing of the school/AD to commit the violations, then he can sue.How does that not amount to extortion? How can somebody commit illegal or ethical violations, get fired, and then use that against a company?
Let's pray to God he did. UT fans are seeing some hope these days, and I don't like that at all. It would be great if their hopes were crushed flat by recruiting violations coming to light. If he was directed to or had the blessing of the school/AD to commit the violations, then he can sue.
Expect to see this on a weekly basis if that's all the penalty is.

F'n weasel words! ;)I'm only talking about the attorney's ethical duty.
Using the threat of something like this to get a bigger settlement check is likely an ethics violation in FL.

I’d better hide my condiments, I don’t want to be charged with having weapons of mass destruction.Sounds like you're encroaching on domestic terrorist territory... I'm sure the DOJ will be contacting you soon.
