Texas A&M upsets Clemson this weekend; NOT - but A&M covers spread on final play

I don't know if they pull the upset, but that +17 they were getting earlier this week seems crazy.

Personally, I don't gamble. But if I did, that's a pretty attractive line. Of course, I thought that last week also, and had a friend take the +37 against GT, which they covered by 1, so what do I know. I'm not a gambler.

If A & M had not missed a short field goal last year, they would have beaten them then.

A & M has been recruiting well and it’s about to show up.

They outplayed them last year. Eleven more first downs, 100 more total yards
But A & M had two turnovers and Clemson had zero.

Don’t be surprised when it happens.

I sure as hell hope not. I get the whole concept of a TAM win being good for the conference but I despise Jimbo and hope his teams get the stuffing beat out of them as often as possible. He's historically been a 3 loss per season coach and I hope it stays that way in the SEC.

Trevor Lawrence wasn’t the QB in this game last year, and it wasn’t at Clemson. I don’t see Clemson covering that spread, but they aren’t losing.

They’re not beating Clemson. But the spread is retarded.

Sexy pick. aTm getting 16.5 is absurd.
Agreed. 17.5 yesterday. Not much of a gambler but I woulda definitely put some money on that spread.

As Sas said, Lawrence wasn’t under center and it wasn’t at Death Valley last year. Clemson has reeled off like 12 wins in a row by 20+ points since he took over. Clemson...big!

Another stat from that game:

Clemson
4/13 3rd down conversion
0/1 4th down conversion

And......A&M’s QB threw for 430 yds

If you rewatch that game you would think there’s no way Clemson would win the NCG.
OR....... Texas A&M might be an improved team.
I’m picking the latter.

Or that Kelly Bryant was still their starting QB and Trevor Lawrence hadn’t taken over yet.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Texas A&M wins the game.
But I couldn't care less about either team. I would like to see a good game.
I don't think it's going to be a blowout.

I would just like to see it. Love the fact that tomorrow’s a night game, but I hate that I’m missing both of the big inter conference matchups.

Plus what’s likely another nail biter finish of two more evenly matched teams in Tally.
