You twerps. Still have a timing issue. Think it's possible that the timing chain is a tooth off.

It's alive! (evil laughter)

Just drove it around the block and she purred like a kitten. Come to find out the outer ring on the harmonic balancer had shifted, moving the timing mark. So when we set the timing, it was way out of whack and ran like garbage. It only took a few months to figure out!

Now I can move on to getting the car cleaned up......and actually driven. Woot!

Good for you. I do wonder what process you used to find it.

Google. Found a thread on the Corvette forum with someone who had the same problem.

And so fans, thus ends the heartwarming story of the little Florida boy who had a dream and learned that no mountain was too high nor any river too deep.

Thanks good work. And I learned something about engines in looking up the part. Very educational. Are you planning on bringing it to a game sometime so we can see it?

You never know, Vulcan. Got it out and cleaned some of the filth off of it today:

Looks great. Now that you got it running, I bet you could sell it for a good $100 or so.

Wow Ox, that vette looks good!

You must be very happy to have it running. Keep us up to date on any new stuff you do to it.

And like Navet, I'm surprised you have a grandson...

So congrats on that too!
