Ok if it turns the topic back on track and get everyone off my back then I regret calling him the P word.....
Now that that's out of the way let me address your post.
One is he fell to 3rd on the depth chart. That was playing on an average CFB offensive line...Yes, they made strides in the right direction but overall they were middle of the pack. That would lead me to believe that this kid is in no way to be considered "NFL caliber", especially after being in college program(s) for 4 years.
Second is there are 4 starters gone from that line for next year....Common reasoning tells you that would have to make him a #2 right? That would almost guarantee you of getting game reps, right? Guys up front need a breather every so often. It would also mean he would only be ONE play away from being a starter, right?
If not then he was planning on getting passed up by incoming Fr. ? Not likely.....Or more likely he wouldn't agree to being moved to another position....like Guard....If that's the case then he's not doing the best for either himself OR the team, right?
All I know is I'd rather be standing on the Gators sideline waiting to get reps in my last year of CFB that go to Louisville and what looks to be a certain train wreck AND still not be assured of starting or getting reps....
