At first I was thinking about a musical artist (Elvis or MJ) that was gone to soon but then thought about some good actors that died prematurely (Heath Ledger) as well. However this could also apply to any industry talent(Steve Jobs) too.

There's a lot of Randy's vision in this song. Quite a few yout ube videos came out--lots of bootleg, grainy stuff. The sound quality wasn't great, but what he was playing just before he died was insane. One could only imagine what he would have accomplished. He was just a few months into 25 years old.

John Belushi, Chris Farley and Sam Kinison

wow... how did I not think of those guys?
those three comprised probably 50-60% of my comedy intake growing up
it's crazy to think Belushi was my daughter's age when he passed...

Ernie Davis Syracuse All-American and the first black to win the Heisman Trophy. First pick in the 1962 NFL draft and would have been the first black to play for the Washington Redskins the last NFL team to integrate. Died of leukemia before he ever got to play one down of pro ball.

Immediately traded to the Browns.. Would have been in the backfield with Jim Brown.. That would have been a backfield to remember...

Steve Prefontaine University of Orgeon long distance runner killed in a car accident age 24.

I seem to be stuck on athletes dying young. Brandon Burlsworth Arkansas Razorbacks. You know his story about the walk-on who made All-American. Did you see the movie "Greater"? Pretty powerful scenes.
