If you are ever feeling too lazy to make your own marinade, the Ken's Northern Italian is a decent marinade for boneless chicken breasts on the grill.Marzetti blue cheese is fantastic. I really like Kens northern italian as well. The olive garden dressing is hard to beat as well but my go to is plain old (olive) oil and (red wine) vinegar. I keep the standard 2 container rack of that on the counter.
FIFY...I skip the salad and ask for an EXTRA helping of bacon
If you've never had authentic Italian balsamic vinegar made in the traditional way I recommend you try it.I try to be flexible and base it on the people or cuisine involved. If it's pasta, I'll go...

And if it's just regular American folks, my thinking is, if the guy can run a championship football franchise, surely he can make vinegar, so Kraft is the obvious choice.

It's obscenely expensive and I certainly wouldn't use it to make a vinaigrette, but it's great on cheese or vanilla ice cream.
I have, but only out at a couple restaurants. No that’s obviously not what I’m using. I like Blanton’s, and I like Old Fashioned's. But I don’t make Old Fashioned's with Blanton’s. I’ll do regular store-bought that’s moderately aged for day to day vinaigrette. But it’s incredible the difference a few dollars makes. Even using as dressing there have been bottles my wife has tried that I just could not do. Trader Joe’s is not terrible for the price point.
And Michigan
You old bastard.I am now waiting on Swamp Monkey to say And Ohio
Back in the late 60's and early 70's the one here in Jacksonville used to be a cruiser destination for street rods girls and beer
True dat. That was over on Beach Blvd where you used to hang outYou old bastard.
Same... I've got a feeling that Frisch's started in the Midwest, then he opened in Florida. A ton of car dealerships here in Florida are all guys that were Detroit area dealerships and then opened dealerships down here.I am now waiting on Swamp Monkey to say And Ohio

Good call. I consider myself an Old Fashioned connoisseur! I make them at least once a week! Favorite bourbon drink
It’s up there for me. Though I shy away from ordering them out unless I know for a fact that they run through their bitters quickly. If they’re old and or not refrigerated, I can save time and just have my wife kick me in the head because the next day will be miserable. Same with Manhattans. Incredible drink if made right, but so often not. And between the bitters and vermouth(also spoils), there’s twice the risk.
My personal favorite may be a real whiskey sour. My wife follows the original recipe with the egg white, and it’s tough to beat.
I love an extra smoky old fashioned. If done right it's smooth as butter.I used to like a Manhattan, but have been on an Old Fashioned kick the last several years. I'll be in Kentucky again next month, so I'll probably drink 30 or so while I'm there! I usually use Woodford or Basil Hayden's.
