I'm more concerned about us running out of QB's with dumbass Hevesy not doing a damn thing

well the bad news for Zach is one he won't be playing us and two he won't be playing weak side defensive end either.

That superwide DE blitz position IS almost unblockable. Of course, it gives up and hope of doing anything in run defense unless they just run right into you. Forget the C gap or edge.

Any semi competent OC will just chip that guy inside with a back or TE. Or run right inside that guy.

Nevertheless our collection of microblitzers will be playing that and Zach forced inside, as always.

It is too bad. He is a capable maybe even elite 3 down DE end but the deficiencies of the other positions will force him elsewhere.

Returning production is a useless statistic, especially if the returning production sucks.

In our case, it hurts because our production in 2020 was really good.

That idiot watched that clip and came away thinking Z Carter was going beast mode? Everyone else watched it and came away with more evidence our o-line is a 3rd trimester abortion.

705 lbs is pretty Dayum impressive. Zac Zedalis numbers. Maybe he can play center.
its nice for sure, although im willing to bet most of us would prefer to see a report that said he was consistently breaking tackles and running away from 4 and 5 star defenders. alas, we have so few the chances are slim.

He came to UF... so, technically, he DID run away from 4 and 5 star defenders.

SEC Coaches Talk Anonymously About Conference Foes for 2021

SEC Coaches Talk Anonymously About Conference Foes for 2021
SEC East

Florida

"Dan [Mullen] continues to excel at understanding his personnel on offense and building great plays around them."

"They got away from the run a little bit, which we assume was a move tailored to their confidence in their quarterback and guys like [Kyle] Pitts. They could just as easily switch back this season based on what they have in Emory Jones and what they’ve lost at tight end and receiver."

"The speed is insane. You fear it. Their receiver speed is unbelievable, it changes how you scheme their entire offense."

"Defensively they seemed to be all over the place."

"Believe it or not, they weren’t as exotic on third down as they have been in previous seasons. My guess is that the personnel couldn’t handle it all. It was surprising, they would struggle against lesser teams and then go out and play world-beater."

"It’s no secret in the industry that Dan is hard to work for and [Todd] Grantham is stubborn, so watching that relationship maintain sure has been weird."

"The secondary is always good, they seem to have a factory going there. Where they lacked was the front, it seemed like they didn’t like to get nasty against the run. You could run at their inside guys and have some success. You should not be able to run against a Florida defense that easily."

"This is a consistent, talented offense that’s transitioning and needs a more effective scoring defense. If they can’t improve on run defense and points allowed you’ll see a noticeable regression.”

Bascially, no one else will.work.for him so we are stick with Third and Grantham until Dan is fired after the Georgia game.

It is kind of hard to take this quote seriously with our safety play since....... forever.

You should not be able to run against a Florida defense that easily."
:lmao2: Who onew playing DEs smaller than our TEs and even our WRs is a bad idea?????
